Shy Mukerjee

Shy Mukerjee is a New York Emmy Award-Winning Interactive Media Producer. Splitting his time between New York City and Baltimore, he works with a variety of organizations ranging from small arts non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.

Since 2011, Shy has worked with television and radio personality Mario Armstrong. Shy began this partnership as Editor-in-Chief of Armstrong’s technology blog, Small Biz Go Mobile, and in this capacity regularly appeared as a contributor on The Mario Armstrong Show on SiriusXM.

From there Shy transitioned into producing Mario’s segments for the TODAY show, HLN, CNN, and NPR, as well as producing and co-starring in the 2012 web series, The Socam Show, which attracted millions of followers over a period of several months. He continues to produce all of Mario’s social media content, including content partnerships with brands like Google, AT&T, the Kennedy Center, and Staples.

Most recently, Shy is the co-creator and co-executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning Never Settle Show, the first livestreamed talk show to win an Emmy Award. In addition, he is the co-creator of the recently launched podcast Wake Up and Level Up, a five-minute jolt of inspiration to kickstart your day.

Shy is a board member & marketing director at Le Mondo, an artist-owned-and-driven project creating a multi-use community hub and experimental performance complex in downtown Baltimore.

Shy holds a BA in Writing & Literature from Naropa University (`09). Prior to attending Naropa, Shy worked as a system administrator for the Advanced Camera for Surveys, a part of on NASA’s Hubble Telescope project.
